IPDC Yudisium 2025
Canossa, 13 November 2025
The Instituto Profissional de Canossa held its Yudisium ceremony for 68 students who successfully completed their studies in the 2025 academic year. The event took place in the Aula Magna Madre Erminia and Madre Celeste at Canossa Haslaran, and was attended by the IPDC Rector, Vice-Rectors, department heads, lecturers, as well as the relatives and friends of the graduating students from the three undergraduate programs: Office Management (OM), Technical Computers and Informatics (TCI), and Tourism, Hospitality, and Culinary Arts.
In her address on behalf of the Rector, Sr. Feliciana Vaz, FdCC, reminded the graduates that this milestone is not the final destination. Each person must aspire to reach greater heights—not through shortcuts, but by embracing the Canossian identity and continually striving to become “more.” She also underscored the importance of adapting to the times, especially in the digital and artificial intelligence era, as Timor-Leste steps into its new role within the ASEAN regional community.
Graduates were encouraged to enter the workforce promptly or create employment opportunities as a tangible contribution to society. They were also urged to pursue further studies and continue their educational journey.
On this occasion, the graduating students were invited to give thanks for the divine guidance received through all those who have supported them along the way. For that reason, a Thanksgiving Mass is scheduled for 17 November 2025 at 16:00 to honor this spirit of gratitude and will take place at the school chapel.
Among the top graduates is Dionisio Martins from the TCI (Technical Computers and Informatics) program, who earned the highest GPA of 3.6 in this cohort.
The ceremony concluded with the conferral of graduation sashes, group photographs, and a fraternal meal. The commencement ceremony is scheduled to take place on 2 December 2025.
IPDC remains steadfast in its commitment to enhancing the quality of education and preparing graduates who are excellent and competitive—locally, regionally, and internationally.
Warm congratulations to all students and their families. May God bless you abundantly.
