Office Management Students Complete Social Service Internship in Suco Caraubalo, Viqueque
On September 20, 2025, thirty students from the Administrative Management program returned from their one-month social service internship in the community of Suco Caraubalo, located in the municipality of Viqueque. The experience was deeply enriching, filled with meaningful encounters and mutual learning.
Throughout the internship, students engaged in a variety of educational and community-based activities, including:
- Windows application training for children, youth, and several local leaders, equipping them with essential digital skills for the modern world.
- Leadership and community management seminars, aimed at empowering young people and local authorities as agents of transformation.
- Cultural and social exchanges, which strengthened bonds between the students and the community, fostering an atmosphere of sharing, respect, and hope.
The people of Caraubalo welcomed the students with warmth and generosity, leaving lasting impressions and inspiring a heartfelt desire to return one day and witness the impact of the seeds they planted.
This internship not only contributed to the students’ personal and professional growth, but also reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to holistic education, service to others, and sustainable development in Timorese communities.
