- One of the most touching moments of the ceremony came when graduates, one by one, were invited to approach their parents with a bouquet of flowers while the poignant song “Inan-aman nia kolen selu la bele” filled the hall. Many graduates knelt, embraced their mothers and fathers, and shed tears of gratitude alongside parents who had sacrificed so much. The emotional scene moved the entire audience, embodying the deep Timorese values of family and filial devotion.
- Among the distinguished guests was His Excellency Dr. José Honório da Costa Jerónimo, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Culture. - The Vice-Prime Minister, His Excellency Dr. Mariano Assanami Sabino, graced the ceremony with a profound *Oratio Sapientiae* entitled: “State-Building: Reflections on the 50th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence in the Context of Timor-Leste’s Accession to ASEAN.”

- The event beautifully reflected the Canossian mission of forming professionals who combine technical competence with moral integrity and ecological responsibility.
Instituto Profissional de Canossa extends its deepest gratitude to the IX Constitutional Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, under the leadership of His Excellency Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, for its unwavering commitment to the development of quality professional and technical education across the nation. The presence and inspiring words of the Vice-Prime Minister and the Minister of Higher Education bear witness to the Government’s vision of building a skilled, ethical, and resilient younger generation — a vision that IPDC is proud to share and serve.
